Could Cellular Phones Cause Cellular Damage?

- Can you imagine putting your baby’s head into a microwave oven?
- Would you knowingly place a microwave radio in close contact with your breast tissue?
- Could the electromagnetic field of a cell phone cause a 50% reduction in sperm counts in men using cell phones for over 4 hours a day?
As a way to serenade her newborn infant son to sleep, a mother decided to use her i-Phone to play baby lullabies throughout the night in close proximity to her baby’s head. Is this a new type of pacifier with potential deadly side effects? Some countries like France have banned the production and marketing of cell phones for children and have begun to institute laws that do not allow children to use a cell phone except for emergencies. A baby’s skull is thin and extremely delicate and more penetrable then an adult. The nerve tissue and developing neural circuits should be far away from the microwave frequency of a cell phone.
Placing a cell phone in the bra has become a cool way to hide and retrieve this modern convenience. Martha, a young mother of 3, from California who runs and is a vegetarian, places her cell phone snugly into her sports bra. She uses her hands free headset and is on her phone at least 4-5 hours a day. She would often have redness of her chest or ear but thought little of it. This summer she developed a malignant tumor right where her cell phone sat on her breast. No one in her family ever had breast cancer. Four other women under the age of 40 with similar stories also developed breast cancer. Perhaps cell phones can cause problems in women who store them in vulnerable places on their torso. Underwire bras serve as additional antennae for cell phones producing what is known as “The Antennae Effect”. Using a headset or speakerphone substantially reduces the radiation exposure. The i-Phone manual states that if the phone is kept in the pocket, the FCC guidelines for safe exposure might be exceeded and that users are responsible for protecting themselves.
Mobile phone manufacturers were allocated a certain frequency range to carry their mobile phone signals. This range is exactly in the middle of those frequencies, which vaporize human and animal tissue use for the treatment of cancers. (very near to the frequency used in microwave range between 750-915 MHz).
Our bodies are truly electric, but the steady low electrical impulses that keep us alive may be disrupted by those pulsed signals that power today’s small microwave radio cell phones. San Francisco will soon require cell phone retailers to provide the estimated specific absorption rates (SAR) for each phone. Safe exposure recommendations developed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) set in 1996 are 1.6 watts per kilogram of tissue. Each time a cell phone user makes a call, low levels of radio-frequency energy is emitted as the phones antennae generates radio waves that transmit people’s voices from one phone to another.
Given even the possibility of harm that can be prevented with an ounce of precaution, isn’t it time parents remove cell phones from our children’s hands and head, bra’s and even pants pockets? For more information on this topic I recommend reading, Dr. Devra Lee Davis who is an American Epidemiologist and Public Health Expert for the Environmental Health Trust http://www.environmentalhealthtrust.org/ , her new outstanding book Disconnect: The Truth About Cell Phone Radiation, What the Industry Has Done to Hide It, and How to Protect Your Family.
